Your 41_backup.bin is empty of any usable data unfortunately. I've asked Loly to check my finding and he's confirmed it.
Please try one final time to get another backup using the first pack attached in Post #51. If it still doesn't give you a viable file [needs to be 4096KB], then please use the third pack from post 51 to erase 41.
There is absolutely no harm in erasing your corrupt region 41 even though you don't have a viable backup of 41. It can only help 'cos it should then allow the unit to operate normally. What should happen [provided there is no other damage to the unit's flash] is that it will boot but as a 14xx. You may have to go thru the screen calibration at first, and you may need to select 'Locale' on each boot, but it'll be usable. You unit will also lose it's registration and unlock codes, which you can see following the unit ID in your backed up GarminDevice.xml from the 'min' folder of the large messy GPX folder you obtained. Compare that to the one on your unit following erasing of 41 where you'll see no codes now.
It's method of last resort imo to erase rgn41, but until someone finds a way to repopulate the info into 41 it's better than having a brick. If you want to get a 'clean' and complete backup of the file system just use the command from post #68 above before you erase 41.
Post again if you're unsure or let us know the outcome.
