Hi there. I use nuvi 1350T. I downloaded TSM11.1 and put it in my hiddenfolder (.system or something) under gmapprom1.img and it worked! I use TSM11.1 - ENG. I installed AU-NZ map in that folder, too. With gmapoem.img, it also works there
Hi,
just wanted to thank you all: I managed to find everything i needed here...and eventually even got it working8
Thanks!
HI
Please bear with me as I am a newbie and a little confused...I have a Garmin Etrex Legend GPS and wanted to put some maps on to it. I have a 32GB SD card and have downloaded the Lake District IMG file, and loaded this onto the card, yet when I turn on the GPS there is no sign of the map other than a symbol of a house where the lake district would be on the basis sat nav map. I've seen other threads where people are talking about downloading mapsource etc. Is this where I have gone wrong and you have to download some other software to get the maps to work. Once again apologies for sheer ignorance!
I think Garmin Etrex Legend can’t load raster maps or satellite imagery, check Garmin product page
and see if these maps are compatible with your unit.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I checked on the uk site and it says ...
A card reader and microSD/SD card are required to download mapping to the following devices: eTrex® Legend Cx/HCx, Vista Cx/HCx, Venture Cx; GPSMAP® 60CSx/60Cx; GPSMAP 76CSx/76Cx; Rino® 520HCx/530HCx; Astro® 220; StreetPilot® 7200/7500 (not all devices are compatible with all downloads).
So it seems it can do it...I must be doing something really obviously wrong! Is it because I haven't registered my Garmin or connected it to my PC?
Etrex Legend is not in compatible devices list of this and raster maps. See Compatible Devices tab.
It's in every map page, but it states:A card reader and microSD/SD card are required to download mapping to the following devices: eTrex® Legend Cx/HCx, Vista Cx/HCx, Venture Cx; GPSMAP® 60CSx/60Cx; GPSMAP 76CSx/76Cx; Rino® 520HCx/530HCx; Astro® 220; StreetPilot® 7200/7500 (not all devices are compatible with all downloads).

Thanks for your help on this.. I'm confused even more...which maps is it compatible with then? SInce the GPS has a Micro card slot I'm assuming there are some kinds of maps which can be added?
Just try a 4Gib card in it, formatted to FAT32 with only one image of no more than 2025 map segments [tiles] named gmapsupp.img in a root folder named Garmin and it's sure to work provided the file contains only vector content, not raster or satellite imagery as already stated by catymag.
Edit: Make sure you have the latest firmware loaded too.
