this is not always true, it depends on compression used, sometimes a better compression gives smaller maps, must check and compare files with Gmaptool and compare the maps in Basecamp

example in the 2 maps comparation: some particulars are in v.12 and not in v.11.6

According to the producer version 12 has "Nueva compilación en formato NT which means that this verson (and the next one I assume) is compilated in NT format. I know that the word compilation is translating high level programming language to low level...............whatever.........

anyway, I guess that's why this version is so much smaller. The maps look perfectly good to me anyway
