I don't think so giomen, I load manually the english_american.srd in asr folder, the voice command of middle east is working', but it will work only in view map, find by name, find by category in numbers, in such if some poi's nearly sounded with your voice will do.

    You think so Giomen
*.srd give you common voice commands as I wrote. *.srd work with any maps and devices on proprietary language.
For finding objects on map you need in *.asr & *.srx files because this files gives correlations between names (for example - street or town) and voice recognition system. This files is unique for each version of each map...

    All good info.

HELP NEEDED! I'm about to undertake this with Europe maps on a new 1490t. The only thing that isn't clear is, are there new versions of the JCV files and 3D files that are associated with each new release of the map files? Are there separate 3D and JCV files for each region, like North America and Europe, or do a single version of the 3d and JCV files cover all maps?

I'm planning to install the Europe maps on a micro SD card. I have the 2011.40 map files for Europe but have not seen anything that says 2011.40 for 3D and JCV for Europe. Will that map work with earlier 3D and JCV files?

The 1490 doesn't support 3D Buildings, so don't bother with them.
And yes, for Europe and USA exist different JCV files and they are linked to the maps, this means u cannot mix JCV files from previous map releases.
Currently 2012.10 maps for Europe are the latest, and you fild also the JCV files in the thread of these maps

Default garmin 3790T with multiple JVC ASR, G2S files

    Hi all,
    based on this thread,
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

ASR and G2s must be located in nüvi\\system

I would like to have multiples MAPs for instance :
    Europe & Australia New Zealand
both on Nüvi device with ASR, G2S files.
Currently, I have on nüvi device \\system\*.img (CNEUNT2012) and \\garmin\gmap3d
So for AUNZ maps, I must copy file to: nüvi\\Map\AUNZ.img
and probably JVC, gmap3d are also to be stored there if I'm not wrong...
But what's about ASR and G2S files?
Will it be an issue to mix them with those files from CNEUNT maps in \\system folder?

    Does someone have already tried?
