Thread: garmin maps and cgpsmapper

Hi!
Can someone make tut how to make maps from ozi to garmin .img

I byed today lg optimus x2 and need allkind of stuff like maps to orux, androzic:hammer:, 1/8000 of finland kkp(karttapaikka) where can see depth and plah. Learned orux ok but making to garmin own maps is hard, never used and cant cgpsmapper so if someone is kind and teach. commands blah..

cgpsmapper comes with a very good documentation incl. sample maps. Writing a Tutorial takes very long time.
And if you search the internet, I bet you find also tuts from other users incl. hints

The program for more practical and straightforward way to go from Ozi standard to img Garmin is Mapwel. Basically you have to learn some concepts that take some time but the process is simple. The program is not free but is cheap, it's worth buying it. Programs like GPSMapEdit also record in img, but you have to have installed on your computer cgpsmappern (command line program, free). In this case you must use another program (like Global Mapper) to open Ozi and save in MP (ccpsmapper) or another format that can be opened by GPSMapEdit..
