If you put it in sd card , it goes in a Garmin directory in a subfolder named JCV.
    I think it's the same in 1490 :System/JCV.
But in other devices it can be different.
    It's very clear,ok for 3750,thanks.

Many thanks for the clear tutorial. Is there a way to see the Junction View images other than to get the GPS to simulate driving the route (or actually drive it)? I've just been testing it (using simulation) for the motorway around the London area and found there's not as many signs (Junction Views) as I assumed. Some way of being able to preview them without guessing places to simulate would be handy.

Far from all of the signs (crossroads) are present now! Probably Garmin buy this info and provider of the info have limited quantitiy of ready for use picture today.

Anyway you may split JCV files into a big quantity of picture by digital signature of usual picture like JPEG and PNG in text or HEX editor easily. But you recieve a lot of separated images - crossboard photos separately, sign images separately and rose direction arrows separately. Other solution did not find?!

ASR files, if they exist are normally posted with the maps. Which ASR files do you need? And do you have a device which can use them?

tom1807, I can't find the.asr folder on my 3790 and even by ticking the show hidden files as well as the webupdater. I need english_american.srd file for my voice command

ASR files changes at every maps release and they'r different in every map.
Look for them in maps threads. ASR folder is in .System in 3790, if you dont have it you must create it.

Untick the "Hide protected operating system files" in the folder options. Then you will see the .system folder. Please note the dot in front of system folder.
You haven't told us, which map u are referring too, but the SRD files haven't been updated for example in the latest European map

American_english.srd and other *.srd files do not any relation to maps. It is only for common device voice control! Webupdater work fine for files with that extension.
For searching by address and POI on specific version of maps there are *.asr and *.srx files. Today they is not available for middle east maps as I know!
