Sorry, but I'm novice to Garmin (used to be a tom tom user...): the problem I have is that on my device intl memory there are 4 img files (gmapbmap.img, gmapprom.img, gmaptz.img, gmap3d.img) but in my downloaded file I can only find 2 img files (gmapsupp.img, gmap3d.img). How do i rename gmapsupp.img file? and what about the new gmapbmap.img, gmapprom.img, gmaptz.img files??? where/how can I get them?? Thanks for your help once again

can someone please explain me how to install city navigator europe 2011.30, becose vhen I try to install by clicking on cneunt2011_30update.msi it says to put in the 2011.30 update disc (i know that i need to do something but I dont know what)
please tell me how to install the map

From what I understand about the the 3790 as well as my 885T, the .SRD files stay as is and only the .ASR and .SRX files need updating to coincide with the new map(s). If you get errors doing a Find Address using Voice Commands you have something wrong, even though most or all other Voice Command functions may still continue to work properly.

ok, thanks. I have loaded 2011.30 to MapSource, made my selection of maps, transfered to my device, renamed and unlocked the new image and then reloaded into the .system folder. In addition to this step I have replaced asr+srx files and 3D image and all other relevant files found in the 2011.30 install package - now map functions works fine, but for some strange reason some of the voice commands don't...I'm getting technical fustrated - any help is appiciated :-)

download this regfile and click on it and say yes to import it to register now you can install

Well, the ASR files in post 1 may be for the 885T or the 3790, I can not tell and no one has indicated which unit as well. The size, 727mb, does not tell me as I do not know which size goes to which unit. If they are for 885T, they will not work in the 3790 as far as I know and the reverse seems to be true as well. We need someone with knowledge in this area. For certain, if you have voice command errors, one set of files is wrong or they are not installed in the correct place. I think you installed the gmapprom by downloading the mapsource files? Not sure that will work with your voice commands, it would not for my 885T. I had to install the entire locked image (this was for NA CNNT 2011.20 since .30 ASR files do not seem to be around as yet so I can not test this newer update) file complete for NA CNNT, unlock it using a key and then and then only would my voice commands work for Find address. Do not know if this is applies to the 3790 but would assume it does.
