Installation Procedure:
1. run and install GarminMobilePC_50070.exe , the ones who dont have problems in installing can look at paragraph 3
2. for those who have problems on windows 7 with the error "not found a previous installation must use the WinRAR file -right-click on the installer, unrar it to unpack the content of the installer into a separate folder, then simply click on MAIN.msi - installation will starts
3. after installation must to insert a base map ( there are no maps in this release)

4. to earn the Russian entry, change to Que.exe patched folder RUS_50070 (originally the Russian entry is blocked)
5. for the Russification of the interface and voice set - rewrite all of the same folder RUS_50070 Text and Voice in the folder with the installed program in Russian language
6.the program with a third-party GPS receivers needs unlock (use KG to generate activation code, and put in the file sw.unl in the folder(see FilesUnlock.zip)
7. use the same KG to unlock maps with FID / PID, put the activation code with the maps files gmapsupp.unl, gmapsup2.unl etc.

- No maps in this distribution
- All maps and unlock files must be placed in the folder of the installed program;
- use IMEI-converter only in case of GPS-receiver smartphone

I installed this version but still can not insert a base map (I have this version, Garmin Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap NR 5.00).
How to insert a base map, my GarminMobilePC 5.00.70g program was install at E:\GarminMobilePC.
Please help.

You should copy the "gmapbmap.img" file to the GMPC application directory. In your case the "gmapbmap.img" file should appear at "E:\GarminMobilePC\gmapbmap.img".

How to addition city map?
I insert gmapsupp.img into "E:\GarminMobilePC\gmapsupp.img" but it was error occur, can not run this program.

Here are step-by-step instructions:

Install Garmin MobilePC using MAIN.msi
Run MobilePC
Choose "Yes" (Did this purchase of Garmin Mobile PC include a Garmin GPS receiver)
Choose "Done"
Choose "OK"
Choose "Skip"
Choose "Yes"
Choose "I Agree"
In Settings -> About, take note of your Device ID
Click "X" in top right corner to exit
Start patched кεygεn(use the latest кεygεnv.1.5
In top box, enter your Device ID
In "Select Product" dropdown box, choose <Garmin Mobile PC> and enter Device IDv
Click bottom "Generate" button & copy key
Start Notepad, paste key and save to c:\GarminMobilePC\sw.unl

Thank Catymag, but this name cannot (Gmapprom.img and Gmapprom1.img also).
I try to used "gmapoem.img", I can start this program but nothing changed from basemap.

gmapbmap.img -> basemap
gmapprom.img -> first detailed map
gmapsupp.img -> second detailed map
gmapsup2.img -> third detailed map (only 5.00.60 and earlier)

If you can't see some of this maps then it is not unlocked correctly
When generating key with JetMouse, select software product "Garmin Mobile PC"

Hi everyone!

I have WinMobile 6.1 and I managed to install Garmin Mobile XT v. 5.00.20wp, but I can't upgrate it till 5.00.70.!

I unlocked my map and they work at garmin mob v.5.00.20.

I've got that file "GarminMobilePC_50070", which I unrared and launched the MAIN.msi and my desk-top says that installation was successful but my device still has Garmin Mobile XT v. 5.00.20wp!!!

What do I do wrong?
