Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps 2010.2 - (NT & Non-NT)

This map set includes the routable tar and gravel road network detail for 10 countries in Southern Africa. The included countries are: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Garmap Southern Africa Topo & Rec 2010.2 - (NT & Non-NT)

This product is highly recommended for all map capable outdoor units as it successfully allows for the convergence of the serious outdoor enthusiast and the pavement pioneer. Detailed topographical and recreational information seamlessly overlays with the Southern Africa Streetmaps product providing a comprehensive Southern Africa map for recreational planning and orientation. Topographic information includes 20m contours, rivers and forests for the Southern African countries and farm boundary data for South Africa and Namibia.


Garmap Southern Africa DEM 2010.2

The Digital Elevation Modelling (DEM) version of Southern Africa Streetmaps gives an enhanced 3D-effect to the maps when used on a compatible product (please check with your supplier or GDA for a list of compatible models). This product includes the full street map data from Southern Africa Streetmaps, combined with elevation shading information and 200m contours.

non NT is a different compression format for old Garmin devices
NT is the new one
An NT map has the same information like an Non-NT map. The device itself "decompress" the image parts , that it can display the streets and informations.
An old device cannot decompress these map parts anymore fast enough, thats why the image of an Non-NT maps has less compression that all information are fluent displayed.
The algorithm is a Garmin secret
