Can I ask why do u post a "Locked" and "unlocked" version of the maps? why would one want the "Locked" version and have to create a UNL file?

i have garmin nuvi 780 i v installed the unlocked version in my unit and the map did not appear.please advice

i have followed ur instructions but unfortunately nothing came up i v tried bot garmin directory on the sd card and in the internal memory, same result

if you used the unlocked map renamed it to gmapsupp.img(not gmapsupp.img.img) and copyied it to the garmin directory of your sd card------deselecting any maps that was trying to display the same area it would have worked---

it worked the way u v described it.thank u very much
still i have on the same sd cn europe installed under gmapsupp.img when i rename it gmapsupp1.img it could not be recognized by the garmin while garmin lebanon under gmapsupp.img worked great. please advice how can i make both working
