Yes, it is an error that occurs when iGO software tries to connect to the internet.
Just disable proper parameters in sys file
[gps]
location_net=1 >> to =0
...
[network]
available=1 >> to =0
...
[http]
enabled=1 >> to =0
...etc

and disable map update check...
