Replace the software in any WinCE devices boils down to a simple delete old and paste new one. And backup it first, of course.
The main problem is whether you can access the device memory at all. The easiest way is if when the complete software is on the card, then you can do anything you want.
You just have to keep the same structure of files, folders and names.
On highly customized devices (Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Zenec...), you can put only cr*cked software intended for it.
If the software is in the internal memory of the device, look for answers on the Zenec forums.
If it is possible at all.

Thanks very much for your great work. Your version runs on my Z3711d. The uniqe version which runs with sound (naurally also the original one).
Because Iam using the zenec in my motorhome ( its a car not a truck) it is very useful for me to be able to define the measures of the car (width and height and weight) for calculating a route.
Perhaps do you know where it is possible to implement this feature? Is this defined in the data.zip or in the exe? I searched in my original data.zip but I couldn't found. And the exe-file I cannot open. (my original version has this feature).

After some tests with different exe-files Iam rather sure, this feature is implemeted in the exe-file.
Unfortunately I have no experience and no tools opening and editing an exe-file.

Thanks Niiiiiš will try. The version of igo primo I use everywhere has no sound on the zenec navigation I tried to unlock today
