Guide Oxford™ Travel Language Guide: Western Europe and the Americas [ 2010 version ]

Here are the current Language Guide instructions to get it working in 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx and similar devices:

    Spoiler: Download
Place both RAR files in the same directory/folder. Extract "Garmin Language Guide.part1.rar" and Part 2 will be automatically extracted too. You'll see an empty UNL file, the Garmin keygen and a folder "LEX_PKG".

This has been tested working in a 1390T device itself (e.g. not SD card):
    - Place the LEX_PKG folder in the device's "Garmin" folder, replace the sample file in there if it exists.
    - Place the "D046800.unl" in there too.
    - Create an Unlock Code with the device's 10 digit Unit ID Number (not it's Serial Number). Use either "<custom mapset>" with FID 900, PID 2, Region 0, VendorID 0 OR "Garmin Language Guide" in "Select Map Product" dropdown:

    - Open the UNL file with NotePad and paste the Unlock Code into it then save the changes.

    How to for Zumo 660:
    - Get your microSD-Card ID:
Insert card in your Zumo, start service mode by pressing the battery symbol top right for ca. 8 seconds. At service mode press "next" 2 times. The page is called “Data Card Test page", note down the number “Serial”. This is your microSD-Card ID.
    - Get your map unlock code:
Run JM-KeyGen (v1.5+5Digit+ChecksumFix) and put in the field “Unit-ID” your microSD-Card ID. At "Select map product" select "custom mapset". A new window will open.
Check "enable additional fields" and fill the entries FID: 900, PID: 2, Region: 0, VendorID: 0 and generate your map unlock code. Copy this code in the file "gmapsupp.unl".
    - Where to place the files:
Create at your microSD-Card a folder called Garmin and copy the complete LEX_PKG folder in this directory. Copy your gmapsupp.unl as well in the Garmin folder at your microSD-Card
    - Reboot your Zumo. The Garmin software will recognize the new Travel Language Guide and copy and install the package in your device. This will take one or two minutes and shown on your display. After installation is completed you will be ask to replace the microSD-Card and reboot the Zumo (delete the files at your microSD-Card).

Take care you have installed all foreign voices for full functionality: German, English (-American, -British), Espanol (-Americas, -European), Francais (European), Italiano, Portugues (-European, -Brazilian). If a voice is missing, you will have no spoken translation (missing speaker symbol)

In KG add your nuvi ID in first window
Search for garmin language guide and generate code
Open D046800.unl with notepade and add code inside and save
    Now your GLG work.
For older devices (nuvi 3xx 6xx 7xx 8xx 5000) go here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Of course, use in Garmin folder whether with card or on unit. Please read Post #1 fully.
