Not work on 3760 Russia from Navicom - rebooting loop after Loading maps, firmware 4.40.
Did you make 3D building and terrain work? Is this a fact or a wish?
9 functions? How do you count them?
Update 1:
@Kanopus,
1- I would like to work with you on this. Are you using US fw v4.50? If you PM me with an email address, we can make different attempts to enable other functionalities. What I did was the best I could do, but I am working in the dark since I do not have a 3760. Let me know.
2- Can you list the files you have in the ASR folder? I just have a few .srd files. Are there others that I need? If ASR works for you, I wonder if it should not work on my 3750 as well and I am just missing a few files (weird the speaker is installed on your 3760)...
Update 2:
@Kanopus:
I converted back to US v4.50 and I have 3D terrain and 3D building too. At first, I had only 3D terrain, but once I went to the full screen map (not navigation map), it appeared and stayed when I went back to the navigation map. I made other changes to the firmware so I am not sure what triggered them to appear.
Update 3:
I have enabled Bluetooth on my 3750. It is not working, but it is there. Maybe BT will work on the 3760... I will make a new patcher...

Bt work on 3760 from the box, not need to patch.
@turboccc:
At area that you are patching there are 9 fields with nuvi model numbers. On firmware 4.50 it is like that (fw_all):
B44EB2 - CE 0E
B44EB4 - 00 00
B44EB6 - CE 0E
B44EB8 - 00 00
B44EBA - CE 0E
B44EBC - 00 00
B44EBE - CE 0E
B44EC0 - B0 0E
B44EC2 - 7E 0E
Models number in hex are:
3790 - CE 0E
3770 - BA 0E
3760 - B0 0E
3750 - A6 0E
3710 - 7E 0E
A first I changed value at address B44EB4 to B0 0E (3760). This change gave me ASR. But I haven't checked other features, one notice - there were no 3D buildings in GarminDevice.xml. Next I changed all fields to B0 0E. Then I got 3D buildings, 3D terrain and ASR. I'm not sure about the effects of each field, I haven't done tests with single value value changed, except for first check with ASR.
For ASR to work you need *.srd file and text translation *.glx with ASR section. ASR is using language settings for text. There is only limited set of languages supported and I'm not able to use english with other not supported language. You can download *.srd with WebUpdater.
Edit: do you have mic in 3750?

3760 normally get rebooting loop for Asian firmware.
v0.83 won't help for successful flashing.
I don't have 3760 too but my friend will get soon.
I hope he can find the way to use Asian firmware.
Thanks,
I may try on my Nuvi3760 too.
@Kanopus
Dou yo change like this:
B44EB2 - CE 0E
B44EB4 - 00 00 to B0 0E
B44EB6 - CE 0E
B44EB8 - 00 00 to B0 0E
B44EBA - CE 0E
B44EBC - 00 00 to B0 0E
B44EBE - CE 0E
B44EC0 - B0 0E
B44EC2 - 7E 0E
or do you change all fields to B0 0E ?
My version was simple:
B44EB2 - B0 0E
B44EB4 - B0 0E
B44EB6 - B0 0E
B44EB8 - B0 0E
B44EBA - B0 0E
B44EBC - B0 0E
B44EBE - B0 0E
B44EC0 - B0 0E
B44EC2 - B0 0E
And the checksum at the end of fw_all was corrected.
Probably patch is superfluous but it works. I'm not sure if setting a filed for 3760 means that 3790 gets features too or maybe this patch will block features in other models.
You can do both... The 00 00 are a list delimiter. By putting values there, the list suddenly continues to the next 00 00. This way, you can make a list of all the devices you want to support. Check what RGN_Tool does.
