Default Struggling to install iGO Nextgen on a 2021 Samsung Galaxy S5e

    Hi everyone

I tried to install the iGO NextGen v9.35.2.252374_(24.Feb.2021) (WORLD)(armv8a/aarch64) version here:
    HTML Code:

without success. I've tried repeatedly, and my best result has been to see the language selection page appear, then it crashes. Re-running, the splash screen appears and it crashes immediately.

    My tablet is an un-rooted 10.5" Samsung Galaxy S5e SM-T720 running Android 11, arm64 instruction set. The screen is 10.5" 1600 x 2560 pixels 286ppi.

After looking through the software options, I picked the Nextgen version for 64-bit capability, higher resolution than Primo, and ready availability of HERE maps for Europe.

I followed the notes in 'What are iGO, Primo and NextGen?' here:
    HTML Code:

    regarding directory structure.

I combined the app with some of the 2025 Q4 HERE maps for Europe, and I also tried installing it without maps or any additional data.

I placed the files in: /storage/emulated/0/Android/iGO_World, then I tried: /storage/emulated/0/iGO_World, with appropriate sys.txt files, e.g.:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
I got logcat files for the crash, but nothing stood out.

I wonder whether there's an incompatibility between the software and the tablet, and I might be better to switch to another version? Preferably one that's available via a torrent as I'm using mobile data and https connections aren't reliable.

What do you think? Have I missed something obvious?

Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!

Hi. Your device works with 32-bit Nextgen. But if you need a 64-bit program, try the one I put together. Igo Nextgen Avicsync. You can find it here on the forum (Igo Nextgen Software)
