To clarify, uConnect nav units in Chrysler group vehicle do use Garmin mapping data in a similar way to Kenwood units. What's not totally clear is whether the uConnects can also be successfully updated with 'unofficial' or a different area to the factory-set map entitlement. Another extensive discussion, without final clarity, where a Polish member was wanting to update a North American unit with EU maps: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
