How to make a RESET or HARD-RESET

Hi again mates , the goal of this tutorial is to show you where those tiny holes to make the reset in our devices .
For that we need a clip or some other rigid, hard and fine utensil while that between us in the hole and we will not double .
Normally when you want to reset it because our device has been locked , which will already be on, but it may be the case that is not blocked and if we is malfunctioning and forum advise us to do a reset or even a Hard -Reset , in which case it will turn our apparatus .
It is advisable to have charged the battery , but not indispensable.
Reset: With the clip and the gadget on, we put through the hole until it is restarted , at which point we get the clip.
Hard- Reset: keeping the power button while our apparatus we introduce the clip into the Reset hole until you reboot , at which point we get the clip and will loose power button.

To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
1. Sure the battery is properly charged.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it back on. Make sure the charging device is turned on.
2. Reset your device.
Press and hold ON / OFF until the device is turned on. This may take more than fifteen seconds

If your device uses an SD card, remove it.

4. Turn on the device.
Hold the button on / off for 5 seconds, at least.
5. Insert the SD card.
If your device uses an SD card, insert the SD card.

1. Goal mount the device by pressing the release button on the mount.
2. Remove the back cover of the device by holding the sides and pushing the device through the central area of the housing.
3. To press the reset button, use a straightened paper clip or similar object. The reset button is located at the base of your device.
RIDER 1st Edition, RIDER 2st Edition
To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
1. Sure the battery is properly charged.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it back on.
2. Remove the SD card.
If your device uses an SD card, remove it.
3. Reset your device.
Use a straightened paper clip or something similar to press the reset button for 15 seconds. See illustrations below to find the reset button.

Sony XNV Navigation Module
To restart the navigation module, remove the bracket by pressing the release button. Then press the reset button on the back of the navigation module for at least 10 seconds. Replace the navigation unit in the holder.
