    Guide Installing the bootloader 5.5xxx

    Installing the bootloader 5.5xxx

Read everything before doing anything if you have any questions let me know.

    TomTom Recommended for :
    ONE : 5.5128 system ( BootLoader )
    XL: 5.5128 and 5.5136 system ( BootLoader )
    GO: 5.5120 system ( BootLoader )

1 -NO VALE This system for 1.xxxx Bootloaders !
So if your TT has a Bootloader 1.xxxx ....DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE IT ! TE smash since the TOMTOM .

2 -Have the battery fully charged TT your butt !

3 - Although the process of updating the Bootloader is quite simple, if for any reason you do it properly, you can upload your TT in seconds .
So I recommend very strongly that if something do not be very clear about this , I consult it .

4 - Make sure the USB connection of the PC with your TT is correct or, if your TT use an SD card , I recommend using the Card Reader to the process of updating the Bootloader if you're reader does not matter.

5- To update the bootloader , you have to have one installed on your TT Navcore it run smoothly . Ie that you can not install the bootloader on a TT with empty internal memory or SD, or having an Navcore work with problems , put the Navcore and map you have old and you work properly for this process.

1 - Unpack and install the system file on your SD (card ) or MI (internal memory ) for your device , remember that you only have to put in the file system name .

Once you've installed then turn it on you 'll get a little clock sand in your TT. That means that the Bootloader is being updated , do not touch or interrupt the process until you get the initial screen you normally get when you turn the device goes out.
When the process is complete, check well in the Black screen , or on the screen of your TomTom Information that the system 5.5120 or 5.5128 as the device is installed correctly .

2 - When you have your new system you running on your TT, you can delete the system file you have in the root of the TT, it will not do more than to take up space on your device as it is installed on the inside.

While upgrading the booloader ,DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING FOR THE TomTom , NI interrupt PROCESS until you exit the Navigation screen !

Once done the process and you can install any Navcore with the best maps such as those incorporating IQRoutes and guide rails.

Now you can also put SD (cards) 4Gb even more capacity but the maximum recommend 4Gb and functioning well , this for devices that use SD ( card).

This tutorial is my admired friend jenito
