Hi there,
Im trying to install my old go910 an European map using fastactivate but only the original United States and Canary Island maps working so far. This meta.txt thing is a bit confusing....
Any hope?
ttgo.bif:

DeviceVersionHW=GO 910
DeviceSerialNumber=V7xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=48600
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183

Try another [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
TTActivator v0.9 [Windows/macOS/Linux]
Code:Features:
- Runs on Windows/macOS/Linux
- Graphical interface
- *.meta, *.tmeta, *.ov2 and *.chk activation
- Navcore patcher
- Create meta codes from installed content
- QuickGPSFix without TTHome
- Map downloader directly from TomTom
- Safety camera downloader
- Postcode/zipcodes downloader
- RDS-TMC configurator
Instructions:
Extract the files to the root of your navigation device (ie. using WinRAR, 7-Zip, built-in extractor, etc). It can also be run from any other location, it should auto-detect the nav device.
If you have your maps on a separate SD card and it's not detected, you should copy the "ttgo.bif" or "ttnavigator.bif" from the internal memory so TTActivator recognises it.
Windows:
Double-click on TTActivator.exe.
Having issues?
If you are running Windows XP or Vista, you may need to install .NET Framework 4 if it doesn't work. Windows 7, 8 and 10 users are recommended to install the latest .NET Framework Runtime available from here if you are having issues with the online features.
macOS:
Download and install the Mono Runtime (stable channel is recommended) and then double-click the TTActivator.command file. It may take a minute or two to start the first time for Mac users - this is normal, be patient. After that it will always start quickly.
Linux:
Download and install the Mono Runtime (mono-complete package) and then run TTActivator.sh.
Thanks master131
Looks great, but still won't recognize anything installed.Quote:

\\UPDATE
For those lacking TTGO.BIF file !
Open TomTom Home, Help, System Information. Copy this to Clipboard.
Look for "ttgo.bif file contents:" Copy this all section out, take idents, and paste it into the root of SD Card/ TomTom device file named... wait for it... ttgo.bif.
Both Activators recognize the SD Card now... will update once I drive home...
\\UPDATE
No luck...
Both Activators, Fast Activator, TTActivator, work and recognize the card. They claim to activate all but fail to patch Navigator saying probably already patched. All maps hence fail to load and nothing can be done.
TTActivator really works great, a much better way to download maps than the usual file share sites.
What next ? Any ideas ?

Looking for info in: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Notice current UniqueId as a space in it... correcting... This is also another way to build ttgo.bif.
\\UPDATE
Either copying ttgo.bif from TomTom Home, Help, System Information, or from the process in the link above, removing the empty space, works. Both Activators do the right thing.
My issue is that somewhere, somehow, during the last device update, Tom Tom "pushed" ttsystem (and PND Navigator ?) into the device flash, this is why Activators could/ would not patch and activation rendered useless. Using the ttsystem and PNDNavigator from above link and copying them into my SDCard solved the issue. Downside is that there is a small delay starting the GPS as probably this files are being called to be used depracating the existing ones in flash.
Hi all, good to be on this forum and thread. I just tried using the F/A from post one. When launched fron INTERNAL root folder there is a red warning, I guess, saying that "Integrated meta.txt is dated 4/16/2019 02:00 pm". I tried clicking on #1 to update Meta.txt and the return I get is the same red warning. I clicked all the other links 1-4 and 10 which all seemed to work except Patch Navcore was missing the ttsystem file so I copied it from a backup. However I have the fundamental problem of getting the NO Maps Found error which happened after I tried solving the Malformed... error in TTHome. I tried the F/A still having this error and except for the red text got OK's on 2-4. I have done a lot of work on this error: copied all files from INTERNAL to an external disk folder as well as Storage, the SDHC. Then formatted both folders; copied back the files did a reset with the card out; shut the unit down relaunched and still same error. The unit is a GO 730, DEVICE Code AK6S2CAKVE; App version 9510 is reported by F/A; navcore 9.510.1 from the cab file name; map version 805.1801- Current Map=North_America_2GB. The files and map were working recently but I got the Malformed... error in TTHome and tried fixing it unsuccessfully and then was getting the No Maps Found error. Can some kind soul point me to the solution?
Hi all. Latest update (email from tomtom 31 aug -"Due to the GPS Week Number Rollover (WNRO) that occurred on 6 April 2019, the performance of your device has been impacted.") gives me "this map can`t be used". After navcore patch everything is ok. Device - TomTom rider 2013
That's correct as you basically installed a new navcore which then needed patching to read "unofficial" maps
Yeah this shows up on both my computers as a Trojan Virus, a little skeptical about running it at this point.....although when I updated my TT XXL through Tom Tom Home it some how wiped out my maps and now I cannot get them back through Tom Tom Home.....either risk it for the biscuit or toss the Nav and get a new one.....Quote:

Why on earth are you using TomTom Home?
What is wrong with Fastactivate?
There is absolutely no virus or trojan in that tool, it is simply the action that is performed by that program, the patch.
This is perceived as very suspicious by many virus scanners.
If that were the case, I would not have had a working PC here for a long time, because I have also been hosting the tool for P33dro for several years now.
If that tool were not safe then I would never have started.
The only thing you could use Home for is to get the share updates, which I rarely do, but I do use it to make mapsettings.cfg compatible with the new map, for example, that file often doesn't work together with a new map.
Connect your navigator, control it via Home, plan a short route, run a demo route and stop it after a short while, at that time mapsettings.cfg will be written in the correct format.
All settings of, for example, the speedcams then work again.
