    Default TomTom Offroad NZ

For those of you in New Zealand who like to hunt & fish or just go 4 wheel driving off road,
also trekking, this is for you, New Zealand topographical maps on your TomTom, never get lost in the bush again.
I have put together TTmaps and over 80 map tiles of the North island, There is still a lot of maps to convert yet but I will get through them .
If the map or maps you want have not been converted yet have a look here

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and let me know the numbers of the maps you need. North or South island ie: BQ31-BN36 Etc.
These maps are about 138mb but I have compressed them down ranging from 4Mb up to 14Mb

Depending on your Pnd Having only internal memory or SD card I recommend putting about 20 maps onto it so it does not slow it down when zooming in and out, In saying that I am using an old TomTom One New Edition so experiment on yours.

TTmaps Home page can be found here

All about TTmaps which is free, user manual Etc Etc.

    To install ttMaps, you need:
A TomTom PNA (TomTom Go, One, XL). GO 1000 and VIA models are not supported.
Version 7, 8 or 9 of the TomTom NavCore
At least 20 MB of available memory on the TomTom SD
A computer running Windows, Linux or MacOS X and a USB cable
Here are some features planned for future versions:
    Display of tracks profiles
    Rotation of the maps
    Voice assisted navigation

Dont forget before you do anything back up your Pna to your computer.

Installation: Unpack rar file to your computer and open folder ttmaps_0.5.1

Copy the 2 folders ttmaps and SDKregistry to your tomtom root folder.
Start tomtom and look in your menu for ttmaps icon.
when in ttmaps scroll thru menu to manage maps and index maps. Thats it all ready to go.
