Well, yes. It's no problem to upload .ov2 files to the device, but then what?
The only way to make them visible is via the search option, as in planning a route to this POI.
Most people won't plan a route with a speed-cam as final destination.
Then again, ALL your own POI's will show up as a white dot on the display (speed-cams, work-sites, family-addresses, hotels, ATM's etc, everything is a white dot)
There is no option to use icons like on the "TT Home" systems
When driving a route from A to B, speed-cams (and other POI's) on this route will not be visible on the screen.
Also it is not possible to set a warning-sound when a speed-cam is within a certain distance.
So this rules out the options like SCDB speed-cams.
There will only be a few (4-5) of TT's own POI's visible. (gas-station, parking, depending on which device and firmware you have)
TT's own speedcams will only be visible if you paid for it.
Simply taking them from the internet and upload them to the device will not work as they are not activated. (remember that on the "TT Home" devices a .dct file needs to generated for the TT speed-cams, this activation method doesn't work for the "MyDrive" devices)
Basically uploading a speed-cam POI file is a waste of space on the "MyDrive" devices as you can't do much with them.
