1. Thanks for thinking with me, but separate countries (which need separate start) are not a compromise i can live with (illegal use is much simpler :S).
Maybe France can be removed with a poi editor from general SCDB files, so dangerous zones can be added. Or better yet, SCDB files which are joined without France, but don't know if this can be done.
2. Wow, haven't read the <= Jelly Bean never before, that explains why it wouldn't work. I'm glad i accidentally found a solution for higher Android versions. Maybe you can use it in your package?
Btw i noticed during driving it will alert on any camera "in sight" of the map, instead of only the ones which are lying on the route. Can this be changed somehow?
