I wouldn't be too concerned about any update.
1. Fact: TT would not update any NC for that except they would be forced to update and that would only affect the help and about files that noone reads anyway.
2. Fact: If anything is really updated TT would go the easy way and do it over a Home update the effectively update the terms and conditions - again only in the about and help section.
3. Fact: Even if TT would be stupid enough to put all the money and effort into new NC's for all devices our users would simply put one of the already available NC's back on and the problem is solved.
This whole thing is still about the date TT sold to "improve" the locations of speed traps.
They were forced to fully agree with the privacy act and proove no personal data was submitted to third parties.
Instead of worrying about such unintersting things any user could be more concerned about the fact that TT knows for years if a user uses genuine maps and NC's.
Since TT is not doing anything about it (except the NC10-11 versions which are caused by the greed not to pay Mircrosoft mony for the use of the FAT system) there can't be enough evidence or reason to panic in this way
So whatever will happen, I'm sure it is not enough for us to think about it
