I just need some info about what is the current truck navcore that can work in a ONE XL with 32MB memory.
I tried the 9.700 or 9.701, but they both just put the device on a continuous loop.
I know that the 8.398 should work, but I'm planning to use the 920 maps, so this navcore cannot handle the maps.

Do you have any info?
Thanks

Hi there
Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the navcore, but as soon as it loads, it stuck on the "truck" image and hands the device.
I've to press the reset button for it to work again.
I've tried several times, and the result is always the same.
Did you change the bootloader first as per point #4 in ref'd link?
Sorry, no... but can you tell me where is the info on how to change that?
I mean... I've downloaded the file [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as I think this is the file that you told me, OK...
When I try to download the DLC files, only one of the files (the one with aprox. 133MB) was online, I downloaded the file OK
When you say to take a look at point #4, do you mean post #4 of the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], do you mean your post that refers to post #1
I was a bit confused with this...
I'm sorry if I'm making something wrong, but I cannot see the way to change the bootloader, as you've said.
Point #4 from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] :-
for all pre x20 models like the x00's, Ones & One XL's, x10's (510/710) but NOT the 910, (that were not designed to read SDHC's or have not previously seen/booted from an SDHC card) you first need to load a suitable bootloader (system file) to enable the device to actually boot up from your new 4Gb SDHC Truck card. The easiest way for you to do this is to copy/paste/overwrite the "system file" (extracted from the attached 5.5120 system file.rar) or from any of these downloaded dumps to your current standard SD card or internal memory and boot up once with that new system file THEN it will read your new SDHC card
You MUST do this BEFORE your device can read an SDHC card

Hi there
Ok, now I got the info on how to do that, thanks...
But, correct me if I'm wrong, this was only to let the device to read the SDHC card types, right?
So if I've that kind of problem, why is that if I place another earlier version of the navcore in the same SD (4GB) the device boots and works as it should? Doen't that mean that the device already is able to read the card?
If so, why doesn't it boot as it should with tha 9.701 navcore instead of the one that he has? or does this problem only afects the Truck versions of the navcore?

IF your device has previously been able to read an SDHC card then that can't be the problem.
Run FastActivate option #7 & post results here (removing your device ID first)

Hi there...
First of all I would like to thank you for the time you're spending, to help me.
So as you have requested, this is what I get out of option 7 of FastActivate, using a 4GB SDHC card, and that runs on the device (navcore 9.026)
I also tried with the 8.398 truck navcore and it also loads from the card (but of course it does not read the 920 or 925 maps)
You might see the free space bigger than it should be, cause I removed the maps, just as a test, to see if the device really loads with this type of card (even without the maps)
