To turn the device off you have to use the menu button or hold the power button for 15+ seconds.
A version for [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], providing X20,X30 and X40 emulation, which is the only emulations possible for the Truck NC.
All versions are based on the DSA tool and offer the selection of the emulation in the menu (where possible).
If you want to use Truck on a 32mb device and need computervoices use the voices provided above as they are tested and working.

Unpack the archive to the root of your device, confirm to overwrite if necessary.
The first boot might take a bit longer than expected as the NC installion will be completed on the device.

What is the coverage for the truck maps where they work? I have a Tomtom 930 traffic, I have a 7 metre motorhome & I don't usually have any problems in the UK or even France but have had some real problems in Spain & Portugal.

Here's my current pre-patched 8.398 set attached to run the truck map on other devices
These are full working dumps of everything you need apart from the Truck map itself.
Rapidshare (dlc) attached (use Jdownloader)
Download your selected attachment from below, extract/unrar/unzip to get the .dlc file then copy to/use Jdownloader to download the actual dump folder from Fileserve. Then just extract/unzip/unrar that downloaded Fileserve .rar, copy the contents of the extracted folder to a 4Gb SD, MicroSD or SDHC card, copy your ttgo.bif file from your backup or internal memory, add the LATEST VERSION THAT WILL RUN ON THIS 8.398 NAVCORE Truck map (v901) from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Just activate the map using your favouritre tool to create a meta.dct AND a tmeta.dct in the map folder and away you go.
Only proven to work with x00, One's, One XL's incl One XL HD Traffic (NOT One XL IQ), x10, x20, x30, x40, x50's provided they have an SD/MicroSD card slot or 4GB internal memory.
Notes:
1. The version for the x20, x30, x40 is just a clean/full dump of an original navcore (not just the .cab) which is suitable for these devices.
2a. The version for the x50 has one quirk regarding shutdown which cannot be fixed (as it won't shutdown conventionally) but is got round by going through Change preferences/Battery saving preferences and untick Device stays on when external power is lost thus it will switch itself off after 10 seconds.
Some report that pressing the power button down for 20-30 seconds also works but I've found this just puts it in sleep mode and therefore still drains the battery.
2b. To reduce/minimise the possibilty of rebooting/restarting, switch the unit on BEFORE connecting to your power source.
3. Specifically for the GO 700 you will need to remove the following to get this to fit on the 2.5Gb internal memory:
(because this was created for the non-mic 300 & 500 and therefore doesn't have the ASR folder).
3a. From the navcore:
Vocaliser folder (no more computer voices)
Helpme folder (no more straight to nearest doctor/dentist etc)
and remove all but 04 & 05 (UK) voices from the voices folder
3b. From the map itself:
Cphoneme (used only for Loquendo & Vocaliser computer voices)
Cspeech (no spoken address INPUT)
crpoi (Compressed Rich Point Of Interest). No more "rich detail" (to see the "rich" detail select Navigate to ... Point of Interest ... POI near you ... select one of the built in categories ... select a POI ... If there is rich detail for that poi then a Details button appears under the phone number on the right of the screen. Click the Details button to see the the rich detail. This is often an address, web site url and email address but is technically capable of including any text and also pictures)
4. For all pre x20 models like the x00's, Ones & One XL's, x10's (510/710) but NOT the 910, (that were not designed to read SDHC's or have not previously seen/booted from an SDHC card) you first need to load a suitable bootloader (system file) to enable the device to actually boot up from your new 4Gb SDHC Truck card. The easiest way for you to do this is to copy/paste/overwrite the "system file" (extracted from the attached 5.5120 system file.rar) or from any of these downloaded dumps to your current standard SD card or internal memory and boot up once with that new system file THEN it will read your new SDHC card.
5. Specifically for the x10 series (like the x50's) to reduce/minimise the possibilty of rebooting/restarting, switch the unit on BEFORE connecting to your power source.
6. The x50 version is reported to also work on the XXL's but I've no way of proving this for sure either way

I' ve just download one of the archive and its asking for a passord.
I created a version of the current 8.398 Navcore for the specific use on 32mb devices.
Even tough it is a dedicated truck NC, you can completely ignore that fact if you only want a stable NC for your oldie that offers working computer voices and the GOx30 / GOx40 emulations.
But if you have to it will work fine with the Truck map as well
It might not work with all emus on a XL, some do, some don't and I have not figured out yet what the difference in the models is.
If your device has 64mb of Ram you won't need this NC!
To install:
Make a baackup using Windows Explorer!
Delete all from the device except:
ttgo.bif, your map folder, the folder voices and the folder "sounds"
Unpack the archive to your device.
If the map is not already activated do it now using FastActivate Premium or any other current keygen.
You can add any LoquendoTTS voice of your choice and use it.
On average the NC gets about 8mb of free Ram with an active route and TTS enabled.

Keep in mind, especially when using the truck map, that you should disable all POI from showing on the map.
This will drastically improve performance!
