Hi all I bought my old One V4 (New Edition) in the UK about 4 or 5 yr ago, and before we moved to New Zealand I purchased an NZ map from TomTom to find my way around here,
Well as you can imagine, me seeing all these new tom tom's appearing on the market and all they could do, I became inquisitive and started looking for ways to upgrade the Navcore & maps.
Then I found this site
My Old Tom Tom now has all the benefits of a new model ie: Lane images, Truck routing, Speed Cams, Etc Etc Etc and with the latest map.
A big thank you to all you guys out there who are prepared to share with everyone.

Hopefully someone will work out how to put the maps on new machines.
I suppose tomtom are having a good look at the activators, ie.. dissasemble them to see how its done and then block it, the activator builder will have to build his programme so tomtom cant open it maybe... we will see.
