Default Is there a way to update via WIFI on Windows 10 with driver software?

When I connect the device it kills the wifi connection. I don't have an option in the config of my wlan card to disable that. Is there maybe some regedit workaround. I have to use wlan not ethernet to download maps.

Honestly I'm so fed up with this POS device and they should be paying me to use it not the other way around. How do they even manage to not fall under with this dumb practices and their whole wannabe ethernet connection over USB. Lifetime long update of maps isn't lifelong , you can't download the updates when the device isn't connected[how hard was it to implent this since Wifi doesn't work when device is connected ]and so on and so fort.

Sorry for the rant but I feel like this thing is gonna end up in a wall soon.

Not heard of a solution for you (and doubt there is one) but you could try asking here:- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I did find it on my own in the end.
Basically you have to go to power plan and disable "USB selective suspend " setting to disabled. It didn't work on my main laptop but it worked on second one.

I managed to update the maps after like three failed attempts due to losing connection to the servers or something weird happening on the device side. It goes without saying but software is terrible in so many ways .
