    Default Tomtom Start model 1ex00

    Hello
    I need some help to fix the Tomtom Start model 1ex00 it is stuck on the screen with some blinking X. I have no idea how to fix it and make it work again. Will appreciate any help

    Blinking X mean that the navcore is corrupt/broken.
    Did you change something or is this happened spontaneous ?

    First make a full backup to you pc
    Second check/repair your internal disk for errors using windows.
    Then reset device and try again.
    If this not help you have to install a new navcore.

    Report back the results and tell us what are the first two characters of the serial nr.

    Hello, Jeanet and thank you for helping me.
    I have done chkdsk and the device is still the same. I get it like this and have no idea what causes it. It looks like that I have to install new navcore but how to do it?

    Thank you for help, but due what I was done the device get worse now it turns on but it shows only a white screen. The serial is XD1270K06070. I will continue looking for solution
