please i want to know if i can use map v960 or v965 with a tomtom start and how to know the update's date in a given version if i may?

If your Start use TTHome to connect to TomTom then yes, if it uses MyDrive then no, see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
960 is the current/latest map version but new 965's will be out in the next couple of weeks.
