Updating a bootloader is ONLY needed if you want to use an SDHC card in an older (pre-x10 series) device.
....unless you're talking about the NEW GO 550 which connects to MyDrive rather than TTHome in which case, sadly, forget it. see [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
