Today.....Today is a sad day. Today my beloved TT 630 died
All screen buttons moved up 1 inch. So the ’OK’ button went from the bottom right to the upper right corner. Sure, I can live with that, but many other buttons are now out of reach. That’s the problem. Yes….. it’s a sad day.
TT always brought me exactly where I wanted to go ( thanks to the maps I downloaded here ) and it saved me for many small speeding tickets ( many thanks for the ‘Speedcams’ I downloaded here ). So..... Yes….. it’s a sad day.
The good thing is that I’ll have to buy a new TT, but I have 1 major question: is it possible to crack a newly-type TT, or are all new TT’s crackproof?
Is there a TT type that I can buy and keep my life as map tester and trafficlight controller? Is there a ‘gpspower’ life after a new TT? Please, does anybody know what TT type I can buy, which can be cracked and therfore I can continue to do my difficult task as map-tester and speedcam checker? If not: many thanks to everyone here, who has helped me the past years with tools, new maps or anything else. Goodbye!
Please, can anybody tell me which TT I'll to buy?

@Mp4073. Thank you for your help, but I already tried it.
I can move/slide the point where the buttons reacts. But the screen is now divided in parts ( up/down ) and in every part, only the bottom-buttons works. So when I click top/upmost/middle part, the bottom-middle button reacts. So I can start the TT, but because I can't use any 'upper' buttons, I'm going nowhere
Unfortunately, this is not a small mishap, but a big error and a catastrophic failure

@Quin1965:
I don’t think it’s the glass. I think it’s the electronics ‘behind’ the glass. Because its looks like the screen is divided in straight parts ( left, mid & right ), but no horizontal parts ( i.e. up or down ) and the upper-part ( of the screen ) triggers the lower button. I think a piece of the ‘matrix system’ stopped working, so it can’t sense where I exactly pushed. It just senses left/mid/right
The TT is older than my car. The copyright stated 2003-2008, so it’s produced somewhere in 2008, 7 years ago. The cheapest second-hand GOxxx I can find is +/- €60, - excl. package, which is a lot compared to the new systems today. Also is life-time-maps cheaper than ever before. I’m tempted to buy a new one…..
Thanks anyway !
