new map calculation shows
hello to all
i downloaded the 2gb usa map to my xxl540 everything is working fine so it seems yesterday i plan a trip which suppose to be 1050 miles one way well i try hard reset changing the setting from fastest route to short route no good 1st it takes 3 1/2 minutes to calculate the route then it shows the route as been 1375 miles one way could it be the maps or the gps unit.??/thanks

ok after updating the gps quick fix the miles to destination is back to normal but the only problem still is it takes so long to planning a route that is 1175 miles away from my starting point.example like from CT to kissimmee fl almost 3 1/2 to 4 minutes calculating and planning never took that long. also my tomtom on my phone says 1175 to destination my via 1505 also
but the xxl 540 say 1189 mile even thought all 3 have the same latest map number USA-2GB-935 5753Last edited by 1iwilly; 26th October 2014 at 08:34 PM.

But, to be fair, that's a hell of a lot of roads/highways/alternative routes etc to sift through to find/plan your best route??!! Originally Posted by 1iwilly

yes i know but on my phone less than a minute on my via 1505 less than a minute.also if i'm running the same map number on all 3 why the xxl540 routes miles to destination a bit diff from the other 2. thanks for your reply
