thank you very catymag, but it doesnt tell what to do with downloaded map? like put in folder in device itself or somewhere else, program will extract it to device? i have looked that thread before, the instructions are only there to active the device? right? could be wrong? thanks you for quick response. like usual any help is appreciated!

Have you read/searched here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as basically everything you need should be around there
Basically meta codes are what are required by tools like FastActivate to activate downloaded maps so as long as there IS a meta code for your ckosen/downloaded map then just use the latest F/A version which usually will incl all available metas...!Last edited by biggerdave; 18th June 2014 at 08:50 AM.

thank you for your response but problem still remains, forgive me for my innocence! i tried run fastactivate.exe its saying no meta found even i put fast activate.exe in map(new map downloaded version 9.3v ). i have clicked all the options still i am having same version i previously had/have? is anything i am missing like steps.
you copy your downloaded content to tomtom device then run fast-activate or does fastactivate automatically recognizes wherever it is, as long as its in same folder. like i said i am new this entire thing. step by step process is appropriated if you know how/have done this process before.
