Were you able to resolve this? How? I had many USB driver problems, requiring driver reinstall. Also with Garmin, that offers different USB drivers..

Nothing yet. I'm starting to think it must be the USB connector/pcb so will probably just send it back to my guy telling him to run it off an SD card instead.
