You are correct, 2.9.2 now automatically starts to d/l 2.9.3 which insists on login before any updates.

DO NOT accept (close TTHome before update) then:-

Navigate to: C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME 2\xul

Using Notepad, Wordpad or another text editor, edit the file in xul called application.ini as follows:

In the line which reads 'Version=2.X.X.XXXX' (matching the version you have installed), modify the number to read '3.x.x.xxxx'

That way TTHome will already think you have latest version.
