    On some Navcores the ststus and information button is not at the usual place or even completely missing (only with some emulations).
    It depends on the device too as the new Navcores are "self adjusting" to the hardware.

    One way to make sure you know what map you are selecting in the menu is to edit the .pna file inside the map folder.
    In the first line it has the map name - you can change it to *****_Versionnumber_int/sd
    Where ***** is the original name before .pna.
    For Versionnumber you write the full version or only the last 4 digits.
    Last you can leave a note if the map is on SD or internal.
    E.g for my AU map:
    You change from

    ID=Australia.pna
    652126214
    885
    build=4021
    id=835479

    to

    ID=Australia_885_SD.pna
    652126214
    885
    build=4021
    id=835479

    And when you go to the select map menu you will see this changed name istead of the useless name from the original.
    This effort however is only useful if have several different maps in use.

    Hi. I am using TT in my PNA. How about using maps for different countries in different builds (versions), like mixing 885, 890 and 880 (one map for each country but different versions) ?

    Thanks

    Sometimes we do not have all maps with the new builds! Example and reason of my question: the map for Argentina and Uruguay ( not MAPEAR), I can not get 885 and 890 versions, only 880!

    Is it possible to mix argentina and uruguay 880+brazil 890 builds ?

    Thanks

    Ok, that makes more sense now
    For your device it makes no difference how many maps or what map versions you use.
    As long as they have seperate folders you can select them all for your use.
    If you edit the .pna file inside the map folder you can change the name you see in the selection menu.
    This often helps to make sure the right version is selected.
