Tomtom go live 1000

Hello

I have an old TOMTOM GO START and since the last weeks I am thinking to buy another one better, I have the oportunity to buy the TOMTOM GO LIVE 1000 for a good price, but I I am quite new in this issues and I dont know if this is a good GPS or not and I would like you ask about it.

What do you think about this model? which is your favorite GPS? which are the models with better ratio prices/quality?
If you have to buy one, which is the specifications more important for you?

Please I would be gratefully if you can advise me a little to make a good buy.

It may be a good device BUT you cannot add new maps etc other than bought/downloaded ones. See [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If you don't want to play with it or add ANY extras then fine, otherwise try to find a refurbed x20 or x30 (or x40/x50 if you also want Live Services)

and about x20 or x30 what do you think are better or has a better ratio price/quality?
Maybe there are other trademarks of GPS that give better models, what do you think about Garmin models, do you prefer Garmin to Tomtom? and in this case whics models of Garmin do you prefer?

I would like to know a little more about the models that there are in the market and your opinion about them.

I know nothing about garmins or other GPS units but the x20/x30 are very reliable & so are the Live x40/x50's
