    @pinkopantera,

Seeing that you are new here you should take the time to read all the posts in regards to both versions of this app before you start asking questions.
The same for your other post......

There are many posts that address what you are asking.
Just take the time to read them.

    Have a nice holiday......

This is still working on my S24 Ultra which has updated to Android 16, I am amazed given that there has been no updates to the app in a long time.
Still no need for me to explore other apps for a daily driver.

Default the end of a beautiful NDS era

    .
Unfortunately, this app is no longer supported.

They (TomTom) did it on purpose
They blocked app access to the servers. It is interesting that there is still an update to the latest edition on LATAM Google play
The installation of the version from the scratch does not work, the application cannot download the necessary files for functioning

    Default The story continues ...

I managed to install NDS MOD on clean device. With two important conditions:
    - first - on an older Android system and a device with an mSD card. During installation, NDS places the files there by default (also GO edition, btw).
    - second - you must have a proper valid backup of the 'map' and 'lang' folders.
Or, what I also tested, a fresh content from the GO software, because the data and their format are absolutely identical

This likely means it can also be installed on some modern devices running a newer version of Android, provided you have full access to the `android\data` folder in the internal memory.
Card access only made things easier.

I ran the installation with the GPS receiver turned on until it got to the step where it couldn't connect to the server to download the maps. Then I killed the app, not just exited it.
Then I placed the content (the map data of the country of current location is mandatory, it is possible to insert more countries) into the appropriate folder.
    Androdi\Data\
    com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds\
    files\NdsMaps\ whole WORLD folder

I restarted the app from the created shortcut, reached the step where app was interrupted and it recognized the content, and then tried to download the voices which I chose
I repeated the process with killing the app and inserting the voice folders
    ...\files\ContentKitData\voices
and inserted the saved 50 and 110 folders related to the voices of my language

Restarted the app again, and that was it. I have completed the rest of the settings
Then I shut down the app, deleted the WORLD folder and inserted the same one from the GO application, with the downloaded maps of several countries.
After the next launch, the app recognized the complete content.

Why did I do all this, if I already have a functional GO?
Well, first of all, complete language support, which doesn't exist with official apps, full TTS support - again, for my language, with all options unlocked, slightly larger selection of settings, visual themes choice, it's little bit faster compared to the GO edition, and it seems to me that it has a slightly more stable GPS reception
The only thing GO offers more is an online price overview at gas stations (and truck support, but for now it is not possible without a subscription)

    Spoiler: obs
Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
