    A guy here suggested to use TomtomAmigo but I don't like it because it has no maps installed on the phone. Maps are downloaded while driving by 3 or 4G from telco's. That cost $$ and is impossible in remote areas without coverage.

    So like to do wireless mirroring Tomtom NDS on Oneplus telephone to my aftermarket Android set. I hope it will be a sharp image on the existing screen in the car.

    About one week waiting and the package will be here in the country (I hope!) My car is a BMW 1 series 2016 included with NBT head unit.
    I like my Tomtom nav, it's much better than BMW nav.

    So I do mirroring on my Andream box en now I can see movies, television broadcast while I'm driving. See how Tomtom NDS looks like this on a BMW 6.5 inch nav screen. Oneplus 6 telephone is USB wired and connected to the box. The box is hidden behind the panel situated beneath the radio/airco panel. I also have Android Auto with other nav apps like Waze, Google Maps.

    I've been testing the TomTom amigo on Android Auto.
    It works quite good. Navigation is good. Voice commands works great.

    It is a pity that Google has imposed so many restrictions to 3rd party Android Auto navigation systems. There are no 3D buildings, it lacks many visual improvements and you will miss customizations (there are none).

    Google want us to use its own apps (Gmaps and waze) but they are just not good enough.

    Hope son we have the TomTom Go compatible with android Auto.

    Hope the

    Cool

    @ypsmav
    It's not Google's forbid to make 3D buildings for developers, for example Sygic for Android Auto has 3D view with buildings, but limited of free, for more it's payware. I think Tomtom AmiGO is built this way: lean and mean. Only essential things. Drawback is the terrible duch voice TT implemented. ^Karen of TT tells they are aware of my complaint. But it's free, In Dutch we say 'You can't look inside the mouth of a gifted horse'
    @ragingchick
    I'm curious about your system can U give more info, please? I can mirror my telephone screen to the car screen with an app called Autolink. But the quality is not as good as a real navigation app designed for Android Auto or my original BMW OEM Navigation.
    I try Google Maps, Waze, Flitsmeister, Sygic and TomtomAmiGO. TT is my favorite app, but i can't wait when Tomtom launches the offline maps 'big' version of their nav app. It's now in closed beta, so we will have to wait.

    I have tried using TT Go thru SDL connection with SYNC 3, but all it says is "waiting for phone connection". I am connected through BT and wire.
