    Well I just see that 'new look' with that huge and ugly blue window sign in the top of the screen which makes a really clogged look.
    I prefer the 'old TomTom Go' lay out which is much neater.
    I hope the will steer away on their new look.

    @Yavis,

    There is nothing wrong with the app.
    It works as it should.
    If you are not happy with it then go back to TomTomGO which is history now.

    I would really like to stick to the old GO version... if TomTom will continue offering new maps in future...

    @garbaetsch,

    It is at end of life.

    The new version of TomTomGO is at v2.11 and is NDS format.
    It has not been released to everyone at this time.
    There are still lots of problems that still needs to be worked out.

    It is almost the same as TomTom NDS app.

    As for new maps that is a big question.
    Keeping 2 different formats is too costly for TomTom when it comes to apps.

    See link from TomTom forum:

    I just discovered something strange: when I open the app in landscape mode there is no text above the icons. If I turn it to portrait mode and back to landscape mode the text is back again.
    In the past I always have used the app in portrait mode so I just noticed it because I now use another phone holder on my dashboard.
    With the NDS Version this does'nt happen.

    Maps are in:

    android/data/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds

    ...in my case, on the external SD card

    @hoschoo or any others that keep asking this question.

    You do not have access to the folders with TomTom NDS app

    The phone or tablet needs to be rooted to see the map folder.

    Some use's can see the folder with android version 6 and 7 (NO NEED TO POST I CAN SEE THE FOLDERS PLEASE)

    But the bottom line here is you can not move the folders or copy the folders to another phone or tablet it will not work.

    So having access to the maps is not needed.

    The app works with no problems at all so forget about see the map folder...... and screwing something up.

    And again this has been talked about so many times here.

    User's need to read all the posts before asking this question and many others that have been answered many times before!!!!!!!!

    In system partition, they cannot be accessed without root.
    TT only places files on the external card if there is not enough space in the system storage.

    This has been discussed many times
