Hello can anyone tell me why vehicle select option is not appearing? I want to use truck setting. It worked but yesterday it made an update and truck profile disappeared. I Uninstall app and reinstalled but the same .. truck profile not want to show

Discussed several times
Download a small map with truck attributes,, wait for the next update, reinstall the apk, etc ...

Never seen a message like that seeing that the app is free for all users of Toyota cars in South America.

There are no maps to buy.....

Since April 2021 your older posts you seem to be having problems with TomTom NDS.
I have been using v1.9.6.2 without any problems.
All Vehicle profiles are still there.
In fact I just did a map update with no problems at all.
Been testing this app since April and it has never failed me in all the test I have done.

I think system something messed up...
Today I did the map update, which was actually complete (all countries - new content).

I made this full update yesterday too (Europe) and the truck attributes disappeared. Than I activated " Beta maps", made the offered update and the truck attributes appeared again, dont know why....

The only problem i had at that time was the same that lots of guys did. Asprin624 i do a average per month 11k kms. GPS is not something New for me. Last monday i did a map update of 5gb. Yesterday i did another of 168mb. Today morning when i turn on the tablets everything was gone. And you blame me????

Lets get one thing straight I do not blame anyone.

What I am trying to get is a clear picture of why this would happen.
I look back on older posts to see what problems the user has had in the past with this app.

5gb is a lot of data to just vanish off of a phone or tablet only by just turning a phone or tablet off.

There is something else going on with the phone or tablet for this to happen.

Are there any other apps that have problems on your phone or tablet??

Like GPS apps......????

There is only a very small amount of users have strange problems like maps just disappearing or the profile for truck is not there anymore.
Why this happens hard to say.
Without details as to what a user is doing it is hard to pin down it's cause.

What phone or table are we talking about?
What version of Android?
Is it rooted?
Did you do a clean install and not bring over any old items from older TomTom NDS?

Is it installed on the Memory of the Phone or Tablet or on a SD card.
Did you try to move any items?

Like I said I have not had any of these problems along with 6 other friends of mine who also test the app from the very first time it came on the market.

I just checked my phone again and all is working with the maps I have installed along with the complete list of profiles of types of vehicles I might want to use.

Thank for your replay. First of all i want to congratulate your Hard job in this fórum. Since that problem i had my tom-tom was runninig 100%. My Igo still runs ok. Só the problem, i think is not hardware related. My Drive still working. In the end i Just lost the maps, and i have to install all over again.

That is great you got the maps to stay.

If you can spell out what you did to correct the problem it would most helpful to any user who runs into the disappearing of maps like you have had.
