Let get one thing straight here.
It is not a Beta........

It has been out for sometime now.
In fact this app TomTom NDS MOD v.1.9.6.(1) goes back to 25.12.2020.
There has been no problems at all with it.
There are some uses for what every reason do not get all the functions.
But that is just the way it is.
There will not be any new MOD versions of TomTom NDS anytime soon if at all.
There is nothing wrong with the latest release original TomTom NDS v.2.8.20 and it is not Beta. (It is free)
Users have the choice to use the TomTom NDS MOD v.1.9.6.(1) or any new original release if posted here.
Seeing that you came to this forum Apr 2021 there are a lot of older users who know what they are talking about.
And I bet you did not read this post:

Well...maybe it will, maybe not. But i already used for quit some time v19.6.51 with grid menu and other goodies mod by master saomaohao also known as david0vich, also known as SantaHoHoHo

In general, you won the bet. I don't even want to argue. 1.9.6.1 is a very good app. I'm not a beginner, even if I'm new to the forum. I started in 1999 with a> streetpilot-GPS <with a black and white screen.

Good point.
But in the end it will be up to david0vich if he want to release new versions to everyone.
You are lucky he has given you new versions to test.
That I find great and it keeps the forum from being flooded with users finding something wrong with the releases you have been given.

Yeah, also good point, that's why sometime Santa Clause doesn't come...Bad children don't get goodies. They didn't realize that all that hard work is for free, they didn't paid anything, someone give them his time and knowledge just because he want and can. @Lezli We already know that some maps do not activate the vehicle profile. In addition to the map of Hungary, add a map of Malta and you will have a vehicle profile.

Another way is to enable early map update. After enabling the option, restart the application and download the offered update.

@Lezli,
You seem to be stuck on only having Hungary map.
Why not just add on of these countries Romania,Ukraine,Slovakia, or Serbia to get the truck function back.
Is there some reason for only having Hungary map???
