I'm not a "Navigation Specialist"
Curiosity driven and I installed on my navigation device TomTom NDS v.1.9.6. (1) Problem is nothing: everything works and I have the "my car" setting in the above discussion topic in the Truck setting.
When the app offered the update I was of course updating. After restarting, the truck setup option also disappeared for me. Well that’s when I registered a “fake” account and logged in online. Then on my laptop I went to the "mydrive" page, there I planned a truck route, I chose the truck and in its settings I gave the same parameters as in the "app". I then forwarded the route to my device. ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) After the device was restarted, the route planned on "mydrive" was in its own route , and the "MY CAR" SETTING IS BACK. Everything has been fine since then.
