Thread: TomTom NDS MOD

Red colour for the route is very wrong. As a theme creator for iGO, i made red roads just those where driving is forbiden and of course, jamed roads. Coloring route with red is very confusing and TomTom knows this. Probably your theme in iGO was a costum made, developers don't do this.

Lets be a little practical here.

In the screen shots showing traffic problems those area's are marked in RED.
Plus slow moving traffic in a yellow to orange color depend how much traffic there is and how slow it is.
The slower the traffic the darker the color gets until the traffic has stopped and then it is RED.
Note even if you could change all the roads to RED what happens to the road problems????
It is not just RED but Yellow and Orange too and the RED info signs that tell you what the problems are.
There would be a lot of changes that would have to be made and that will not happen TomTom is not going to go down that route.

As you can see all road problems are in Yellow, Orange and RED for one reason only to warn you there are problems with some areas.

If some users are color blind they have to take that info and understand what it means.
I would thing anyone who is color blind knows how to handle that.

That is the phone's problem not the The TomTom NDS orginal or the MOD version.

I have been on the TomTom forum many times and yet to find anyone having a problems with the default colors of any of the TomTom GPS apps.

User's might not like over all the colors that are default but they use it as is.

You will have to live with that of find a different GPS to fit your needs......
