Check your settings something is turned off.
It works for me both voice and signs show up.
With so many new items in this version everyone need to test each one of them to see if it fits your needs.
The only way to find out is turn them on and off in a demo drive and see what they do.
I am testing each item in the next coming days to see what they all can do.
Side note:
As for manuals most apps do not have a real manual just some hints here and there about them.
You just have to test what each item does and make notes if you need to do that.
The more users who post screen shots the better.
So users who have not tried all the functions can wake up and see there is more to this app than meet the eye.
So come on boys and girls start posting screen shots of this new version on TomTom NDS........ for everyone to see.......

just been out for a test Drive and found out if you have the voice (Karen) reading out the Street names
out and round about exit, you will not have the Visual cues. you can have one or the other but not both
going at the same time like you could with the old version.

The question is it working now???
If so what did you change????
And show screen shots of the menu item you changes so others can see......
And I quote you from older posts:
"traffic does not show for me
I can not find any alternative in the app"
So you seem to have other problems to understand how this app works.....

Hello,
Here are some screenshots. Not on the menus but on the behavior of speed camera alerts:
I would like to point out that I am totally new to TomTom and that this is the first time that I have installed a TomTom system.
When there is a speed camera on our route, it is possible to click on the alert icon in the right bar. This allows us to have a zoom on the exact location of the alert.
Clicking on the map icon gives us some information about this alert: Type of speed camera and triggering speed:

In France, the display of speed camera alerts is prohibited. TomTom respects these regulations by offering us "danger zones": These zones are represented on the map by start of zone and end of zone, without giving the precise location or the model of the speed camera:

Sure you have your data turn on, Traffic and Speedcam need a Data connection to work.

Ok, i nstalled v 1.9.6.1 on Alcatel 1SE smartphone running Android 10.
No problems instaliing and downloading maps, looks good, gonna test it on the road soon.
One thing, in settings → show on map I don't have settings for buildings and landmarks in 3D view as in the screenshot on OP ?

But if you search for a large city it will show the buildings in 3D
