Weekly incremental updates are starting since version 17.1.1 At least European maps. I don't install other countries outside Europe.

I've tried installing this application on my tablet and it keeps coming back with "application not installed". I'm therefore unable to use it. I've tried in two different tablets and also on my mobile phone and it comes back with the same message. Is this common and is there a solution to my problem? Has it happenned to anyone else?

@aspirin624 I talk about TTS.

In an older version from TT there was an Lab-option for TTS. They removed this option.

If you now install the never versions on devices this is not working anymore.

You have to install an older version with this lab-option. Enable TTS voices and then install newest version on top.

Now TTS is working.

What older TomTom NDS app are you talking about????

Computer voices are TTS voices.

No need to install any other TTS program.

The GPS uses the Google voice engine

In fact that has been for a very long time now.

The thing is traffic does work correct in Austria, Slovakia and Hungary, all 3 countries I was recently driving through. The only one that doesn't show any traffic is Slovenia. I'll try to upload some screenshots later today. Oddly enought, I can see Slovenia traffic in Sygic truck version....

I can see you have traffic info in Slovakia on the Tomtom Mydrive website. Rather strange this traffic data is not sending to your phone!

It is possible to use, for example, Google TTS when installed.

Then you can use TTS voices instead of the voices from TT you can download.

If you cant use TTS voices at the moment you have to install version 1.1.4 for example. In this older version you can set use installed TTS voices in the lab-settings.

Then you can install the newest version and you can still use installed TTS voices from Google etc.

Are you mixing up the TomTom apps???

TomTom Android 1.4 APK Old not used any more

Then came:

TomTom Go Mobil Traffic v1.14.1 / Tomtom Go Mobil Traffic replaced TomTom Android 1.4
TomTom Go is now up to v2.0.5 now used NDS maps

Next Generation app

TomTom Navigation v 1.1.4.105 New NDS version which is now up to v1.7.3

All 3 are different apps that TomTom has come out with.

There has never been a problem with computer voices aka TTS voices on TomTom NDS app

The same with TomTom Go Mobil Traffic they both work OK with computer voices aka TTS voices

Ok, that's strange - it seems that TomTom do account traffic, but it doesn't display it

I guess tomtom uses info from mydrive website (and I do have Online routing option enabled), as otherwise you could turn left from starting point.

I do not understand why version 1.7.3 does not look for addresses by the house number. Version 1.3.4 searches for the house number. The latest version that allows this is 1.5.3.
