Sometimes this app will notify me of map updates. If it doesn't I usually delete the currently installed map and download it again to get the latest update.

In the first post it indicates that the installation path of the obb file is in the SDCARD, but many users say that there is no use putting it in the SDCARD and that the correct thing is to place the obb file in the device's internal memory.
