If you can not download the maps, then you should copy the "com.tomtom.gplay.navapp" folder with the " main.1646522.com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.obb" file to the Android/obb folder of your car navigation.

i have retried it all, i installed the rom of my car headunit clean (so there is nothing left of older versions etc) today. Then installed the way the op tells you to, i installed maps without problems (apart from my slow wifi on the headunit) i got about 500 mb in half an hour (that was slower when i tried it before, on the same network, so no explanation for that).
Still i have no live traffic on my headunit. on my phone it does work with the exact same APK file. so i have no idea whats wrong. i will try voices tomorrow, i believe that needs the same connection and is allmost no data.



Update. Weirdly enough the traffic information worked yesterday. I have no idea what I have changed myself other then that the app may run in the background
