I had version 1.17.1, I uninstalled it and installed version 1.17.2, I just download the maps
No problem
Tried to install new version without uninstalling 1.17.1: cannot install
Uninstalled 1.17.1, installed 1.17.2 and obb, but crashes after a 10 seconds ...
So it is
Stopped again and again. And has to be restarted. Who can help. I followed this way:
1. Install original TomTom Go app via Play Store
2. Start the app, skip Wizard and go to the map download, but do not download maps. Important: do not close app!
3. Copy the folder /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp somewhere (for example, to the PC or any other folder on the smartphone)
4. Close and uninstall the original TomTom app
5. Install patched version v1.17 and do not start
6. Copy the folder copied under 3.) back to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp
7. Start patched version v1.17 and perform map download.

Yes that is what I wanted to say. The old way does not seem to work. Perhaps an Xiaomi issue

No, I don't have xiaomi and I can't install the new version neither
