Hi sygyzy
I think it's possible if I remember well VBulletin settings, I'll check and ask our SAdmin if he agrees to change it.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Currently new topics and posts will display Today or Yesterday as their date of post. This sometimes leads to confusion after midnight as the date is not updated instantly, even after refreshing the web pages. You will find posts posted at a time a few hours in advance. Another problem is to read posts saved a few months/years ago where Today and Yesterday lose their reference point and can never infer their original dates.
Is it possible to have an option in General Settings such that dates are always displayed in absolute numerical values such as 04-06-15? Thank you for your considerations.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
The point is that "Today" or "Yesterday" is more instantly intuitive than a date for users and for Moderators who are checking forum's posts all the time.
This is the reason why it's default in VBulletin's forums and in many others too.
Consequently, we prefer date format with Today/Yesterday for the last two days, it will be easy to determinate last active topics without decoding and remembering today date .... some members might not like the new format too.

Yes, I understand the convenience of Today and Yesterday in the date string, if they work as designed. On the other hand, for other purposes such as archived and saved posts, they don't give you the right answer. For example, the actual number of days between a Yesterday post and the next non-Yesterday post can be many days, weeks, month, etc. apart.
All I asked was to have an option in the per user personal General Settings such that people who don't like Today and Yesterday can choose to avoid them. It looks like this is a forum global setting and cannot be changed. :-(
How about something like: 04-06-15 (Today)
On the same topic, can we have month name instead of month number, it's a lot easier to spot when day is less than 13. For example, is 04-06-15
April 6 or Jun 4?
